The 8ft Classic Waving Santa is the Santa your community remembers — the traditional silhouette that’s been welcoming families to downtowns and public spaces for generations. Outlined in C7 LED bulbs, he greets every passing car and family with a raised arm and a wave that reads clearly from across the street. His wave is created through light-sequenced animation, alternating between two arm positions to bring the gesture to life. Perfect for town squares, parks, and Main Street corners where tradition matters.
Some Christmas characters never need updating. This classic waving Santa display is the traditional silhouette that’s been greeting families in downtowns and public spaces for generations — Santa in profile, arm raised, waving to everyone who passes. Standing [HEIGHT] feet tall on a steel frame outlined in C7 LED bulbs, the [animation — confirm: same two-position light sequence as the modern version?] makes the wave read clearly from across a street or parking lot. If your community expects the Santa they remember, this is that Santa.
This display is engineered for seasons of outdoor use. The steel frame holds its shape through wind, rain, and snow, the powder-coated finish protects against the elements, and every C7 LED bulb can be replaced individually. Cities have been putting this style of Santa up for decades for a simple reason — it works, it lasts, and people love seeing it come back.
We build a modern waving Santa too, and some properties prefer that softer look. But the classic silhouette carries something the newer style can’t — familiarity. It’s the Santa people grew up seeing on their own Main Street, and putting it up tells your community the season has officially started. Manufactured in Gainesville, GA, it’s built for high-traffic public spaces and the crews who install them. If this is the Santa your town remembers, let’s get started.
Every piece in this collection shares the same palette and finish, so your tree, wreaths, garland, and accents match from the front door to the lobby.
